On Friday, June 20th, AONE members are invited to tour Wayne Carini's F40 Motorsports facility in Portland, CT (check out their website for a sneak preview). As many of you may know, Wayne is the star of Chasing Classic Cars, a fun and informative "day in the life" show about the world of buying and selling vintage and classic cars. Wayne got the "car bug" when he was nine years old, after going for a ride in a friend of the family's Ferrari. The rest is history! We plan to meet at F40 at 10AM, tour the facility, and stop for lunch. If you are interested in attending, please email John DeWaele at jdewaele@aol.com by Wednesday, June 18th, at the latest! Directions The meeting place for driving to the F40 tour will be the Dunkin Donuts located at 483 Providence Rd (Route 6), in Danielson CT. A number of folks will be coming via 395 so that will be a good spot to rendezvous. John will be there at 8:30, and we'll be departing at 9:00 sharp.
