Spiga again this year!

We will be meeting at the wonderful gourmet restaurant Spiga Ristorante Italiano in Needham, just off Route 128 (I-95). One of our members, Roberto Rosa, who is friends with the chef/owner, has again arranged a family-style lunch for our meeting, and we will have the entire place to ourselves! Please take a look at the Spiga Ristorante Italiano website. It is a beautiful place with great food. We will set the tables up so it is more conducive for talk as we've done before. They have a large parking lot for before-and-after "bench-racing" (all the snow and salt WILL be gone, we hope!) and it is quite centrally located. We will have a superb buffet-style lunch, with two choices of pasta and entree, plus coffee and desserts, all for $20 per person, plus $5 tip, which is much less than the actual cost. Food and tip need to be collected in CASH at the door, so hit the ATM before you arrive.

The chef is donating his time for free but he does need some of his staff, and Roberto and Maria Rosa will be helping out the owner with some of the setup, drinks, and clean-up duties so we can have the entire place to ourselves! Wine, beer, espresso, and cappuccino will also be available, charged per person, also cash.

So mark your calendars — the meeting/lunch is set for Saturday, March 28th, from 11:30am to 2:00pm.

Please let Tom Lesko (tmlesko@comcast.net or 781-749-9132) know you're coming before the end of the day on Tuesday, the 24th! The chef needs an accurate head count three days ahead of time to buy the food, etc. for us.
