Alfa Romeo to be featured at the 3rd Annual Thompson Vintage Motorsports Festival The deadline to sign up for the Alfa Car Corral and get discounted tickets is the end of the day on Thursday, June 23rd!
As part of their designation, Alfa Romeo racecar drivers will receive their own special race group as part of the event. This unique race will showcase a wide variety of vintage Alfa Romeo race cars, including Giulietta Spiders, Sprints, and Supers, and most likely a few pre-war models. Alfa Romeo owners are also invited to participate in their own Car Corral on Saturday, June 25. The Car Corral will cost $10 per car and, in addition to special parking privileges, will also include parade laps around the track during the lunch hour. We may also be putting on a cookout, as we did at last year's event. Thompson Speedway is giving Alfa Car Corral participants a significant discount on tickets! General admission ticket prices, normally $25, are just $15 for Alfa drivers and their passengers. To get this price, you must purchase your tickets through AONE by using the PayPal button below (choose the number of people in your car from the pull-down menu and click the button). Or you can send a check payable to AONE, 76 Baker Ave, Beverly, MA 01915-3540. Either way, your tickets will be waiting for you at the Thompson box office.
Make sure to indicate your and your passengers' names, and the Alfa model you'll be bringing, by clicking "Add special instructions to the seller" when you complete your PayPal payment, or in a note enclosed with your check. Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park (TSMP) has announced the designation of Alfa Romeo as the Official Marque for the 3rd Annual Vintage Motorsports Festival, to be held June 23-25, 2016. The Vintage Motorsports Festival features cars from throughout the past century — from the early 1900's to the 70's — racing on the historic 1.7 mile road course in Connecticut's Quiet Corner.
