IMPORTANT NOTE: This year we are starting at the base Visitor's Center on Mountain Road (not the ski area and not the top of the Mountain). We will end at the historic Publick House Historic Inn & Country Lodge in Sturbridge, MA.

Join us for coffee "and" at 9:30AM; we leave at 10:00AM. Departing the mountain, we'll travel a slightly different route than in past years through historical Princeton, Holden and Rutland with a quick pit stop in Rutland for gas and "go". Then we'll be off to frolic around the fields and pastures of New Braintree and Hardwick, keeping some of our favorite roads but adding some brand new favorites. We'll ramble through West Brookfield and Brookfield back roads and finally to our ultimate destination, Sturbridge.

Lunch (see menu) will be in the Tap Room of the Publick House Historic Inn & Country Lodge, 277 Main Street, Sturbridge, MA, built in 1791.

Directions to Wachusett Mountain

Our meeting point is the Visitor's Center at Wachusett Mountain, 345 Mountain Road, Princeton, Mass. (Go to the State Park Entrance, NOT the ski area).

• Take MA Route 2 to exit 25  for Routes 2A / 140 South toward Westminister/Princeton. NOTE THAT THERE IS NO GAS at this exit. So plan to stop BEFORE this exit to gas up, or wait until our gas stop about 13 miles into our route.
• Turn right off the ramp onto 140 S / 2A W and continue to follow 140 S for 2.4 Miles
• Turn right onto Mile Hill Rd/Park Rd which becomes Mile Hill Rd - follow for 1.1 mile
• Continue onto Mountain Rd. Continue PAST the ski area to the State Mountain Reservation entrance on the right, 0.8 mile
• Turn LEFT into the Visitor's Center, not RIGHT past the ranger station / toll booth and up the mountain as we've done in the past.
