IMPORTANT NOTE: This year we are starting at the base Visitor's Center on Mountain Road (not the ski area and not the top of the Mountain).

Join us for coffee "and" at 9:30AM; we leave at 10:00AM. Upon our departure, we'll travel through historical Holden, Paxton, and Barre centers, with a new loop dipping into a lovely section of Worcester. After leaving our traditional fall picturesque Petersham Center photo stop, we've added some new elements to the second half of the route while completing our "Wachusett Region Tour" by visiting Hubbardston and Westminster centers. We'll be ending our journey at our traditional lunch spot (the Old Mill Restaurant in Westminster). Depending on the weather, everyone can optionally take a jaunt up Mount Wachusett to take in the panoramic view from the summit after lunch.

Our meeting point is the Visitor's Center at Wachusett Mountain, 345 Mountain Road, Princeton, Mass. (Go to the State Park Entrance, NOT the ski area).

• Take MA Route 2 to exit 25  for Routes 2A / 140 South toward Westminister/Princeton. NOTE THAT THERE IS NO GAS at this exit. So plan to stop BEFORE this exit to gas up.
• Turn right off the ramp onto 140 S / 2A W and continue to follow 140 S for 2.4 Miles
• Turn right onto Mile Hill Rd/Park Rd which becomes Mile Hill Rd - follow for 1.1 mile
• Continue onto Mountain Rd. Continue PAST the ski area to the State Mountain Reservation entrance on the right, 0.8 mile
• Turn LEFT into the Visitor's Center, not RIGHT past the ranger station / toll booth and up the mountain as we've done in the past.
